I first met Alex back in 2012. She was a bridesmaid in Erin and Jon’s wedding that Nancy photographed and I was in training. Fast forward four years, and I received a sweet email from Alex reminding me of who she was and telling me that she was engaged and on the hunt for a wedding photographer. There is nothing that makes my heart happier than getting the chance to photograph people who have been guests or in the bridal parties of other weddings that we have photographed. There is a comfort that comes along with the opportunity, knowing that they have seen you in action and that they are going to be taken care of.
Alex and David met at work on their company’s kick ball team and hit it off right away. I love watching the two of them together. They are mature and confident in who they are, but at the same time have a silly and laid back attitude about life. They love just being together, whether it’s at the Farmer’s Market, eating tacos downtown or walking their pug around the lake, as long as they are together they are happy. I would also like to introduce you to their adorable pug, Miles (Pootie) who lights up their life and definitely stole the show during their engagement session. I just can’t get enough of his little legs and swishy face!
Congratulations Alex and David! I am so excited to capture your wedding next year!
