Yes, it's that good. This magazine is stunning. Whenever I read a magazine, I really read it. I sit down, take my time, look at each page and soak in every word. This magazine is so good, I haven't even made it all the way through yet (I'm about halfway). Of course I have skimmed over every page, but I'm now taking my time with it. There are some really lovely features - mason jars, biscuits, seer sucker, Southern traditions... it rings true with any Southern bride! Just trust me, you'll love it.
I am honored to be featured in these pages, along with some really incredible photographers. Lara, Emily, Whitney, Marissa, Sierra, and Nicole - thank you from the bottom of my heart. I'm honored to be found in these pages!

Nancy, you are too sweet! We were so happy to feature your fantastic images! Can’t wait to see the rest of Lara’s maternity session and her new haircut. And yes, it does take quite awhile to read through… it really is like a book! My favorite Southern tradition is Southerner’s hospitality. There is such a warmth and slower pace in the South that allows you to really enjoy life and your relationships.
Sweet iced tea…and cornbread!
My favorite Southern tradition would have to be the Southern Hospitality. The love of my life and I have been dating for 4 and a half years now, and he still ALWAYS opens my car door for me. The South is where all the gentlemen live.
Sweet tea, pearls, and southern friendliness. My favorite Southern quality would be wearing my pearls on a daily basis. You may even see me working out with my pearl earrings!
First of all, congrats. I love seeing your work get the recognition it deserves!
As a transplant to the South there are lots of traditions that I have enjoyed observing and partaking in. But my favorite might be the simplest pleasure of them all – the art of sitting on a deep front porch in a comfy rocking chair with a cold drink at the end of a hot summer day. To this Yankee that will always be a quintessentially Southern experience and I’m happy to say I’ve gotten quite good at it
Dessert bars at receptions! Southern girls are proud of their baking skills so at weddings they often have an additional homemade dessert or unique groom’s cake made by the mother or grandmother. Nothing beats your grandmothers one of a kind recipes.
I hope to have a dessert bar at my wedding someday filled with lots of homemade goodies!
o! Nancy! So happy for you and this accomplishment! I have had your blog on my reading list for awhile now. Not even sure how I found it in the first place, but you are so talented and every photo you take is beautiful! Wish I could have you take our pictures for our big day on Dec. 17th! As for a Southern tradition, I would have to say how friendly everyone is! I am technically a Northerner, and when we visit family in Boone/West Jefferson every summer, I am amazed at how many strangers wave and smile at us “tourists!” Only in the South!
You know I so want one of these mags, but I don’t know if it’s legal for me to enter since I’m your sister
But, I’m going to press my luck & try anyway – haha. My favorite tradition is sweet tea, sweet tea, sweet tea – oh and rocking chairs.
Congrats on yet another feature, Ms. Nancy!
My favorite Southern tradition is sweet tea! It’s served everywhere!!
Ohhh Nan, I’m pressing my luck, too! One of my favorite southern traditions (as I have many) is the Potluck, most commonly featuring many types of casseroles!
Nancy! Congrats on the feature! Love it! My favorite southern tradition has to be good ol’e sweet tea. My favorite!
I love southern food and how it is so important! I work in a very rural area and every staff meeting a different department brings home cooked southern food: BBQ, fried chicken, mashed potatoes… All the southern staples! And everyone always shares recipes! Southern food is the greatest accompaniment to good friends, good family, good conversation and good fun!
My favorite all time southern tradition would have to be sweet tea. I love it.
Yay Nancy! You know I love your amazing photography skills but it is so great to see everyone else recognizes it as well
My favorite thing about being Southern has to be the food. I love some BBQ and sweet tea.
slower pace. family. sweet tea. bbq. fall. holidays together. the south is just the best!
Souhern tradition: banana pudding, usually made by my Godmother. She makes her own whipped cream, and uses Haitian vanilla extract. Solo delicious. Funny story: one time my sister substituted mayonnaise for (insert secret ingredient here) because she thought it was on the recipe! Hilarious!
