My heart is full looking back through these photos. Branches and Light 2013 was incredible, and I'm so blessed to have had this opportunity. Caroline and I began talking about this dream 4 years ago, and it's incredible to see how it has unfolded. With dozens of videochats, brainstorming, writing, researching, reading, learning, and simply walking through owning our own businesses, we confidently put together what I believe is one of the best photography workshops out there.

I love the balance of sharing our hearts and actual shooting. Our styled shoot was incredible, and it was so sweet to see the beautiful creative minds at work all around us.

Miss Stefanie Miles did an amazing job sharing about what is most important in business : the people we are surrounded with. What a genuine and gifted business woman! We were so grateful to have her as our guest speaker. My favorite quote she shared:

To every beautiful photographer who attended, thank you. My heart overflows with gratitude every time I think of you. I'll never forget closing the day with thoughts from my heart, seeing several of you with tears in your eyes, as I fought tears of my own. What I will never, ever forget this day or that moment.
