Will and I have known Tommy and Jasmine for years now, and their friendship means the world to us. You can usually find us all cooking meals for each other, playing Settlers of Catan, talking about/watching Friday Night Lights, or enjoying some coffee at Sola. They are pretty great. :]  Words can't really express what happens to me when I photograph the wedding of dear friends of mine. While I'm photographing these moments that mean so much to me, fighting tears behind my camera, (ok ok, actually crying behind my camera,) I am reminded of how incredibly honored I am to have this job.  It puts it into perspective for me. It changes the way that I view the couple, the moments, and the day - for this couple, and for all other couples I have the honor of photographing.

There were so many moments during this day that I cried. The pre-ceremony prayer while holding hands on opposite sides of a door (I was a mess), watching Jasmine's sweet Daddy give her away, hearing them say their heart-felt vows, the toasts at the reception... the list goes on. There were also so many moments that made me laugh! Photographing/being with the bridesmaids, adorable moments during the ceremony, Tommy surprising Jasmine with a Justin Bieber lip sync and dance performance with his groomsmen, and all the crazy dancing at the reception! Truly, there is no set of 2 personalities betters suited for one another than these. We are so grateful to be called your friends, and we couldn't be happier that the Lord brought you both together. Love you to pieces Mr. and Mrs. Marciniak!

You might notice the "Giving Back" portion of their invitation in the bottom left corner of the photo below. Tommy and Jasmine are very involved in Fight Like Paxton - a non-profit organization that is very dear to their hearts, supporting families that are fighting childhood cancer. Just another one of the many reasons I love this couple.

The Daddy daughter dance was so sweet I could hardly stand it. Jasmine is definitely a Daddy's girl.

To all of my wonderful friends who are in this blogpost, thank you for being you! Your dancing pictures are some of my favorites!

Yay for many more double dates and game nights with you two! Love you!
