What better way to celebrate a big (and I mean BIG) move than have a photo session commemorating your first home together as newlyweds? That's exactly what Megan and Steven did, and it was so much fun being part of this transition in their lives. As you can see from the photo above, this sweet couple just recently made the move to Texas from North Carolina. I photographed their wedding less than 2 years ago, and it's amazing to see how much has changed for them. I love how they love to make the most of every season of life together.
Megan has such fun taste in decor; I feel like this home could be straight from the pages of Domino. Enjoy these images of their first home together, their favorite memories (i.e.: fro-yo!), and their sweet love for each other. Congrats on the move you two - and please please please stay in touch!

This is the cutest idea! What a fun way to commemorate such a big milestone. Lovely images, Nancy!
Y’all are too cute! That one of the two of you above the one of your feet (you with me?!) is a framer!
Nancy! We love them. Thank you for these
We miss our sweet home already, but Texas has been treating us very well. We will surely enjoy these memories for years and years to come. xo, Meg
You Only Live Once! bahaha!
So cute!
Beautiful photos! Could you tell me where you bought the picture of Texas-Carolina? That would make a great gift!
@jaynie – Hi Jaynie! I purchased the map from Etsy (search: vintage map) and then I added a matte and custom frame. We use map pins to pin where we travel, but I removed them for the shoot. I created a little “DIY” project to highlight the states and demonstrate the move with the arrows.
