There are a few magazines out there that I read religiously. In order for me to know I am going to buy a magazine every single time it comes out, it has to have beautiful images, solid content, stunning layout, and it must be current. My magazine laundry list includes :

Real Simple

Martha Stewart Living
Whether it's the newness of the magazine (only 3 issues to date), the social media buzz, the lovely Southern Weddings blog I follow, or simply the fact that my roots are as Southern as they can get, I must say that I have never been more excited to receive a fresh new issue of a magazine then Southern Wedding's V3! Pure joy when it arrived in my mailbox, I kid you not. I lit a candle, cozied up on my sofa chair, and soaked in it's goodness. Not to mention, one of my images made its way into these beautiful pages. Check it out!

I love families gathering under the summer sky celebrating a wedding together with a good home cooked meal. And then, sending the bride and groom off through the lights of sparklers.

Whether it’s on the cakes or dresses, the details that I love the most are the ruffle or lace accents! They catch my eye every time.

My favorite wedding details are when the bride wears unique shoes, when there is a just pop of color on an off-white wedding cake, feathers in the bride’s hairpiece or veil, checkered dance floors (black & white), and spanish moss hanging from the trees (if it’s outdoors)!
